getting-to-know-you phase
after you pick up the phone and
contact sales engineering group, this is what you can expect:
- discovery sessions. we will schedule a
series of complimentary short research calls, 3-5 in number, each
lasting from 30-60 minutes. the
goal here is to start to gain an understanding of your challenges
and objectives to expose the information
needed to design a solution tailored to your business and your budget.
- strategy development. in-person, or online
through a webex session, sales engineering group will present our
summary findings and give an overview of our proposed solution.
- proposal refinement. at this time, using
your input, we will fine-tune the solution to fit within your budget,
timetable, and goal expectations and develop and action plan to move
forward.
- agreement to proceed. our process is designed
to give us a chance to understand your challenges and give you a
comfort level with our expertise so that you will clearly see the
value sales engineering group brings to your company. you
will be able to proceed with confidence.
roll-up-the-shirtsleeves phase
this is the exciting part where we work as a team to produce
measurable results.
- detailed discovery sessions.
our next step is to continue the discovery process. we work
with your teams to gain an in-depth understanding of your situation,
the current working environment, your customers and their perceptions,
and your desired future state.
our discovery process allows
us to build a tailored solution that meets your business objectives
and provides you and your customers with an awareness of, and measures
for, the value you provide.
- implementation. the goal is to build capability,
not dependence on our expertise.
we’ll work with you
to bring your sales management team into the rollout and implementation
phase to ensure the solution we create becomes part of your culture. the
sooner your management team becomes responsible for the expectations,
inspection, and coaching of the process, the better.
- management. once your strategy and process have been rolled
out to the organization, we’ll help you and your team develop
the coaching skills needed to help individual contributors develop
new skills and put your strategy in play.
we’ll also
assist in the continuing journey to bring tools, systems, performance
management, and other aspects of the business into alignment. and,
we’ll meet periodically to assess your progress and help fine-tune
the system to meet the changing environment you work in
